This is our 10th Anniversary Halloween Hell art bottle! We have been combining Fire with Art for 10 years now. As many of you know Dan Norton has retired from potting. His bottles were amazing and will go down in hot sauce history! For our 2019 bottle we have the fortune of working with the amazing Jason Mahlke! His work is absolutely amazing and he is well know and highly respected in the world of art pottery and face jugs.
"I don’t claim to know the origin of face jugs, but surely somewhere in the mythology is the story of some potter who, after a long day of turning scores of jugs, had the playfulness or artistic urge to roll up some scraps of clay and fashion a face on a drying jug. While I have always been drawn to folk art and sculpture, it is the way the face jug transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary—the utilitarian into the artistic declaration—that keeps me focused on making these grinning and wincing vessels."
And this is what we have been trying to bring to the world of hot sauce for the last 10 years! I am confident that you all will be amazed when you see the bottles that Jason has created for us. Each bottle is unique and this will be one of our most limited releases to date! These are sure to become highly sought after collectibles and without a doubt some of the most collectible bottles in the hot sauce world! As for the sauce, this will be one of the hottest and most flavorful sauces we have ever created! Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
